Lol, a thread revived by a message I replied to when I was 12. It was a different person, though.

I have actually been trying to figure out what these two sentences mean for the last minute. I still have no idea. What is this, an argument by McGann?

Macbeth Revived this thread. Nobody replied to an old message. Who was the different person?

Further questions include: how old are you now; who taught you to write; and have you suffered a stroke.

I like it though when its on the top of some stairs and you're engineer. you take it out and kill the sniper and the snipers like, "What the fuck?"

Sorry for not being clear. Macbeth revived this thread, the message in that post was actually similar to, if not the same as, a post some user I can't remember posted years ago in this thread. I remember replying to that post and remembering how old I was then. Macbeth's post brought back that memory.

I'm 19 7/12 years old. I mostly learned writing with my English books, I'm long rusty for not practising much and dealing with people on the internet with poorer grammar than I. Technically I'm "typing" on my xbox 360 using the controller. Oh and I am too young for a stroke.

All fair enough. I suppose I just wasn't willing to go through 30 other pages blindly (I did check the first 2 and the last 3 or 4) to figure out what the post had meant.

In looking through the other 7 pages I did see, it seems that 3 years ago I had some kind of crappy debate with FM about Machiavelli. I still think I'm right on that. Some of the writing is crap, but the points stand I think. Crazy to look back and see what your posts looked like when you actually spent more than a minute considering what someone had said.

Know what really grinds my gears? Having stopped and wasted my time to write all that.

i had a mini-stroke once after overdosing on some synthetic speed stuff. it was a bad batch. for like an hour i could form thought in my head but couldn't even string together a few verbs and conjunctives. i was communicatively incommunicado. i also felt like i had pins and needles all over my body, for about 15 minutes, as i guess my nervous system went into some sort of shock. i got laid a few hours later and drank some orange juice and pretended like the whole thing never happened.

Sounds like migraine aura symptoms.

Mind you that migraine can happen completely without any headache/pain at all.
A lot of stuff can trigger an attack too. Synthetic drugs sound very suspicious.

You know who really grind my gears? Firefighters.

I am sick of people calling NYC's firefighters "The city's bravest". They aren't doing this dangerous job because they want to, they are doing it because they want a paycheck. That is when they are actually fighting fires. Most of the time they are sitting back at the firestation watching TV and eating while waiting for the occasional ''I smell gas" phone call. Then they have the nerve to call homes asking for donations while they get a pension, healthcare, and a decent salary thanks to their union.

You know who has a real dangerous job? Fishermen. They die way more on the job than firemen. Where is the fishermen's parade?

fishermen do it for the paycheque too, they don't save your life in an emergency, and it's relatively unskilled work. thats why they don't have a damn parade. fisherman are from the bottom of the proverbial barrel, that's why none of them have teeth and they are catching fucking fish for a living.

my friend is a fisherman, works 6 months a year then travels the rest.  He's sitting on a beach in koh phangan as we speak.  I wouldn't exactly say it's bottom of the barrel.  And it depends what type of fisherman.  He's a commercial salmon fisherman in Alaska.  It's not that dangerous.
