Nice, seen the CS one before, was funny then, is still funny now, the science thing I've done at school, you use sodium something mixed and then poor it on another chemical, works nicely.

Warm Water + Dry Ice = boom

Just put some dry ice in a bottle of lukewarm water (yes I have done it, yes it does make a nice bang and no, no-one got hurt) Also if you really want to annoy your next door neighbours and make it sound like bonfire night, get an empty 2 litre bottle of any soft drink, put 1.5 litres of water in, then the dry ice, screw the top on, run, and then wait for a nice bang. I wouldn't suggest throwing them as that's when they go off in your hands and though I don't think they'd do much damage, but I wouldn't want to be the one to find out that they can.

Oh and another thing, not quite as good but still quite funky, get a bottle of diet coke (works with any fizzy drink but diet coke is best) take the top off and drop a Menthos softmint in, it has to be Menthos though otherwise it won't work. What you should get is rapid carbonation, basically you get a massive jet of coke shooting out the top, again messy but fun.
