In the year of 2006, teenagers, and many adults, are stressed out from a hard days work, so we tend to kick it back with some fun. Back in the day, a game of Mario would satisfy our greed for satisfaction, but the days are changing, and a broad new horizon of video games are around the corner. In this year, when we buy a video game, it means more then just going down to the local Zellers (or Wallmart) and grabbing "The Legend of Zelda" and "Mario 64" in a 2 for 1 deal, it means we are faced with even more hard decisions. What genre of game do I want? Do I want a First Person Shooter, for it's fast paced action, or do I want a racing game, because I belong on the road? Maybe killing some Goblins will bring me to level 3 in an MMORPG, or should I get down and dirty with the pigskin throwers of Madden 2006?

Well folks, I leave you to descide.

My vote goes to first person shooters.

you will get lots of Fps guys, you are on a bf2 forum..

so I voted fps and racing (I dont have any race game, but I really like them when I play them at my friend's home)

Before, I was a RTS guy but I got discouraged by the "keep focused during a 30 minutes game to finally get owned by a 30 seconds attack" style

I was thinking of adding this section, but it falls under fantasy. I put fantasy instead because players of KotOR 1 and 2 and the like can select that if they wanted.

Think of something better to post in the NOT BF2S, NOT BF2 forum then. I just wanted something to post for fun, seeing as most people have more then just 1 genre they stick to. I don't, but some others do.

BF2 also has RTS.  What could be more fun than a RTS where your troops that you command don't listen to you.

FPS - Been playing fps since doom,rise of the triad, quake1,quake2, ....

RTS - All the aoe series (star wars versions also), starcraft, warzone2100 ...

I think battlefield type games are a good mix of rts/fps


Before computer games back in the day it was Street Fighter II, Samurai Showdown, KOF series .... still like to play ROMS

Puzzle games? Yeah Tetris on my phone when im in the toilet

No I mean turn based, and can you name these 2 games?

And should I also classify an rpg that's set in the future as fantasy?

Calling rpg's fantasy is a little retarded since various games from different genres use a fantasy setting?
