(This is kinda for people who haven't heard of it)
it has been two weeks since i first watched Firefly and I have never seen a program so amazing in my life (granted, it's only 16 years, but still...). If you haven't heard of Firefly, then you may have heard of Serenity. This is the film based after the tv series, and is just as good as the series.
If any of you have ever watched some Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or Angel, and liked them, then you will love this. If you don't find these two shows any good at all, i still suggest you watch Firefly, as it has such a witty humour about it, i'd say it is almost impossible to go through an episode without laughing.
It's based in the 26th centuary, and portrays the future as a mix between "spaceships and cowboys" you could say.
I'm totally hooked with them, and bought the series and film straight the way from Play.com for about £30.
anyway, (i'm getting to a point) FOX cancelled the show back in 2003 (there fault as they showed the epsiodes in the wrong order, so people got confused). There are people out there who want a second series for it and are trying for it (latest news i heard is that it will be happening).
anyway...
Buy them now. i strongly recommend it.
