Can somebody help with my inability to take nearly anything seriously. I mean i can take college seriously, but outside of that, everything is a joke to me. Like the time i got fired when i worked as a cashier at Staples, for "gross misconduct and inappropriate behavior", which mean the Chair-lympics, where we raced our shares, through a number of office related obstacles! The winner got a crown made from stuff we found at the copy center. good times, good times.
lol i cant believe u did that at staples
were you really high strung and went to see a hypnotherapist that died halfway through the session?
there was no one watching us, everyone who cared was either busy somehow or not there. But then...the manager emerged clipboard in hand.ATC wrote:

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? This is a place of business and if you two want to screw around, then I don't think you should be working here. This is highly unprofessional and very inappropriate. I am firing you immediately.
That's pretty much what he said.
mm, not quite. all though i used to be really professional and business-like, and then something snapped.kilgoretrout wrote:

You sound like a great employee!
"My inability to take anything seriously" = Immature
Nothing wrong with being immature as long as you recognise the consequences.
You knew it was wrong but you did it anyway. I believe that it was fun and I would have liked to have a go too...but if it was your business what would you do?
You were probably bored with the job and needed a reason to get a kick out the door.
