the point of unlockable dephibs is to make people really think about how they get their points.

Two packs from BF2 combined to one? (Assault/Medic) I like...

Here's some gameplay footage if you haven't already seen it. They haven't said whether there will be some form of artillery. There's only 4 packs, maybe we'll get a mortar-round like pack if we do? You never know.

it looks cool, but really complicated no??? well a lots of unlock... i think each player will have diferent unlock and we will have to think about the unlock because lots of unlock are available.... well it is complicated but with the beto and demo everybody will enjoy it im sure.... EA/Dice look ready for this:P

No.....

Most of the world is covered in ice.  It's so cold that people can't survive in it.  The remaining land, or in otherwords, the soil not covered in ice, is so valuable and there's so little of it, wars are being fought for it.

These weapons look kickass, really. Apparentely when you kill with the knife, you get the person's dogtags. I guess there will be like, a dogtag count and when you get a certain amount you'll get a badge? I dunno.

I was surprised there's no planes though...you'd figure in the future they'd have planes. Oh well, no plane whoring TKing assholes.

That little hover jet is REALLY, REALLY cool. Also, for the engineer kit, the substitute for the wrench ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE AND IS REALISTIC. "The HOFF-3000 is a high-tech Repair Tool equipped with computer analysis and a nano-torch that allows the Engineer to easily repair all vehicles. The HOFF-3000 is a high-tech Repair Tool equipped with computer analysis and a nano-torch that allows the Engineer to quickly and easily repair all vehicles on the battlefield." See, that actually makes sense, unlike the wrench that could just repair about anything.

Another thing that's great is the combined kits. Engineer gets AT AND a wrench. In addition to that, they get a mobilizer, which sends an electromagnetic pulse within an area and disables vehicles. This is an unlock for the engineer kit.

Recon/Sniper looks cool too. You get the APM (Claymore basically) and a sniper as well as active camo.

All in all, it looks much better than BF2. Much more complicated, yes, but the weapons are much more advanced (obviously) and the gameplay looks amazing.

Combining the kits.........Awesome.  Gonna be loads of fun.  I like the dog-tags you can collect by knifing people

Yeah, I've wondered how many unlocks you get per rank.  I highy doubt it would only be 1 because that would just take way to long.  Out of curiosity, what makes you think three?

i think they will start with 2, then w/ an expansion it will allow 1 more unlock just like what they did w/ SF
