Any instrumentalists (not including piano and/or guitar, etc. Real instrumentalists) out there? I'm in marching band and our whole show is Holsinger. We're playing Gmyway's revenge, On an american spiritual (awesome) and battle music/sinfonia vocci. the battle music part of the 3rd song is a bitch to play.

i guess. try plaing for 8 minutes straight taking an average of a 22 and a half inch step every beat at about an average of 175 beats per minute,

our first song is 160, our other one is 84/100/96(?) and our last is in 2/2 and half note equals 132. so thats 264 if quarter note equals 1 beat (4/4). then it goes to 144 (4/4)

I play my organ regulary. I dont need a black and gold uniform to help me either. I'd like to see you do that Mr Luke, you seem like a right jumped up lil shit. bigmack, I've been a bassist for 15 years now. I've also played some piano, drums, guitar and trombone and can definitely tell you that bass is probably the easiest instrument in the world to play. It's still cool as shit though!

Hey hey hey, enough with the marching band bashers I'm in the marching band at the University of Wisconsin, playing snare on the drumline. I'll be the first to say that it's anything but easy. However, I think the OP's comment about guitar and piano was uncalled for: they take just as much talent as any other instrument.

Piano harder than brass???? Are you Fkng High?? No...really, I want to know. It seems pretty clear that the bulk of you dont much of a clue about playing anything but your skin flutes. The closest most of you get to playing music is listening to Rob Zombie in the background while your going ...jump, crouch, shoot, prone, run, shoot, jump... and thinking "man, my butt hurts from sitting here for so long."

I played trombone for a year and can tell you that in my personal experience, piano was harder. Maybe it's easier for you, but who cares. This isn't a contest to see whose instrument is harder to play, it's about a band nerd trying to get together with other band nerds. And I don't mean that in a mean way, cuz every single one of us here is a video game nerd.
