I just found this link via stumble (the best firefox plugin ever) and wanted to see what the rest of you thought of the ideas presented in the animation. I found it pretty interesting, but at the same time I'm not sure what to make of it. Tenth Dimension
Woooow....
Oh my god, he lost me around "This is the fourth dimension"
iowngettit.
Sounds like a book on the string theory...
Actually I have heard this stuff in my old school..
There is this dimension, which is 3, then one with 4 and another with 3....
But
This sounds like string theory, if you are intelligent, I guarantee you it will confuse you..

Interesting, I sort of got it, but it still left me feeling like "...wtf?"
oohhhhh... of course! why didn't I think of that???
im just going to go fold myself into the 5th Dimension now...

conceptually it makes sense, each new dimension is a manipulation of the one before it
after replaying some of them a couple of times you'll get it (at least i did)
and basically the tenth dimention really explains it all in general....

basically there are only 3 dimentions that actually exist in reality, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Its basically only in our minds that dimentions 4 through 10 exist...
i should get really high and watch that again
Uhhhhh...3rd demension? wha...what?! When did this happen!!!???
watch every dimension twice and youll get it. my brain hurts now.
I actually understood 0-9 enough to summarize them
0-3: Our spacial reality
4: Time
5-7: Alternate realities
8-9: Alternate Universes
10: ???
Not sure if I actually believe what this guy is trying to sell, but at least he got 0-4 correct according to modern science.

nice find. it takes some intellectual shortcuts, but that's necessary to get the audience to follow the logic.
mathematicians can operate on higher dimensions than 10 by using flag projections and other collapsing techniques.

you dont have to believe anything, this is a conceptual thought. the 4th through 10th dimentions basically only exist in thought, its impossible for them to exist in REALITY
the 4th dimension is very much real. if it weren't, the universe would be static and activity couldn't exist.
argh, what i meant to say was, theres no way we can actually "see" or "view" the fourth through tenth dimentions, thats what i meant when i said that

thank god physics GCSEs dont have this on....
I don't think there are anymore dimensions then 5. We all know of the first three, which deals with space. The forth one deals with matter moving though space with time. And the fifth dimension is how the matter moves though space using time. (Decision)
Why I think there can be no more then 5 dimensions: You can't make a different decision at the same point of time. (Unless we develop a way to go back in time.)
All the other "dimensions" are just "what ifs" of decisions.

what the guy means is that those dimentions dont actually exist in reality (at least at the moment), but only in our minds....{M5}Sniper3 wrote:

That was, very interesting.
