Well I just watched the entire first season of Over There and I'm curious what everyone else thought about it. I myself really enjoyed it, not as much as Band of Brothers though. So post your opinions. It would be nice if ppl who actually served in IRAQ like Gunslinger could comment on the authenticity/realism even though it is just a TV show.
I thought it was OK - its hard to capture the realizm Hollywood Style - now this is what they need to show http://www.sirkproductions.com/index_severe.htm
I wish I had a handycam when I was rolling around in the desert

that series came out while I was over there. I havent seen it and I dont think I will for the same reason why I dont wanna watch Baghdad ER. nothing could truly capture the feelings and emotions that were felt while I was there and seeing those kind of things will just make me wanna go back even more. but band of brothers is a spectatcular series. I must have seen the all the episodes in order at least half a dozen times. Great Great movie.JAM7374 wrote:

I taught it was cool but taught some of the gun battles looked very cheap and the locations all look the same (Does all Iraq look the same perhaps?) Is there a second series coming out?
Nice quote deeeng, was'nt Orwell great? Perhaps he's made me too cynical!

I wish I was half the man V was.
I haven't watched it and don't plan too, since I was over than and don't need to watch a series about it.
They canceled it right as the 1st season ended. I thought it was cool - cuz it reminded me of BF2.Jepeto87 wrote:
