Pirates have guns and cannons, Ninjas aint got shit for long range.  You cant throw a fucking star 200 yds.  Pirates obliterate them from long range, the end.

Ninjas use seige engines to hurl black powder charges ( which we invented, you tool ). We also are dealy with a long bow.
