hmm, i never saw the difference between master quest and normal OoT.
the hardest mask wud probably be the marriage one, even tho you never actually got it at the end.

I liked MM way better. But it was shorter, and I did play it first, so I guess its sentimental. I can't wait for wii, maybe they will release MM for dl so I can play without using shitty N64 controllers

Ocarina of Time was a groundbreaking, exciting and very very good and well thought out game, that I have nothing but good things to say about. But, I found Majora's Mask to be much more entertaining and fun, and also better looking than the latter. I voted for Majora's Mask.

You can play MM (along with OOT and Zelda 1 & 2) on the Collecters Edition on Gamecube. I baught it when it first came out on GC just to play MM cuz I had never played in on N64.jonsimon wrote:

I also got the OOT disc on GC with the Masters Quest on it and I must say it was a tad harder in the dungeons. That's the only place that the Master Quest was any diff from the original. Some on the dungeons were a bitch to figure out and I'd stay in one for days cuz some of the puzzles would just rack your brain forever until you stumbled along that damn key you've been looking for for 3 hours, lol.

MM just didn't have a Zelda feel to me, I like change, but it just was hard to get into. Ocarina of Time set the standard for almost any game to follow, and few have.

I liked the fishing too. I actually caught the hyrule loach , but with the sinking lure . Funny fishing off the guys hat though.

Best song: Definitely the Bolero, or if you count background music, the original fire dungeon. They had to take it out in later versions because it sounded like Muslim Prayers. I managed to download a copy of it somewhere but i cant find the site.
Best temple: Fire Temple
Worst temple: Shadow Temple
actually i think the worst was the well. the first time i played it i was like 8, and theres the pink and white monster that grabs you and bites you, that freaked me out so much. I had nighmares for weeks. So glad all you have to do in the well is run in and grab the lens. Thats the worst part about MQ, you actually have to go through the whole well.
I never actually got all the skultulas, hearts or bottles in OOT. I just kind of gave up at 50, cus you get the heart or wallet, cant remember. And i dont think i ever figured out how to get the last bottle, the players guide said it was in the market and you could get it both as a child and adult, but i never found it. I am pretty sure it has something to do with getting all the big poes for that guy tho. Can any one tell me how to do it?

Wow, I'm really impressed someone got all the gold skullutas, I didn't mess with that game too much, too busy fishing.
They're both fun in their own way and have a lot to contribute each. If only MM didn't have that lame 3 days to live thing it would be better. I can only compare these two because I didn't play the originals or the new cell-shaded one.
EDIT- I have all the gold skulltullas in OOT as well. Pretty much beat that game 100% thanks to the Prima guide. I got distracted from MM by online gaming so it is yet to be finished, along with the damn Super Mario 64.

I like that stuff in real life so what could be better than doing it in a video game? Wait...that didn't come out right...
But really, fishing looks great, but I think there is going to be so much extra stuff to do ( I read 50 hours dungeon play, plus all teh extra junk 100 hours WOW) that I'm hoping somehting else pops up.
i actually went fishing for the first time last thursday, caught 5 fish in my first hour.
anyway, i alos like how TP uses the wii remote to use the bow and that, you can tell fishing is gonna be good with that.
