Is it just like, a server thing? Can I do any single player at all? just to get used to the maps, crap like that..

I thought there would have been a folder for AF in the mods folder ohwell

1) just run the normal BF2 and you should be able to find a server playing the AF maps.

2) Yes you can play single player AF.

One easy way to find the AF maps is to just list your servers alphabetically by maps.

Just look out for the maps:
Operation Smoke Screen
Operation Harvest
Midnight Sun

Before you got AF they would show up in the list but just be 'redded' out and you would be unable to join.
Now those maps will show up and you can join them.

Pick a low ping server out of the pile and Join. That simple

Operation road rage (I think its operation anyway)

i think he meatn to say operation road rage instead of operation smoke screen.

Okay See I dont get it.....
I have all the expansion packs. SF, AF, EF
For SF it says The only server with unmodified content can play these servers.... I never modified anything I just installed the freakin thing. After I fixed that freakin bf2/mods/shaders/lighting issues. So I cant play SF

Ive baught and installed through EA Downloader AF and EF, and when I go and try to play a map it says that I dont have the game.... so whats going on?:???

I get screwed by the game as well - just quit and reload the game. Waste of time - but it works...
