Flights from the Hariri International Airport, which Israel so helpfully bombed.jonsimon wrote:
I don't think anyone should have to pay. We're talking 17k for a boat ride home. You can plan multiple vacations on 17k. Not to mention these people already would have chartered plane tickets for hundreds of dollars, tickets that will now be useless, or would cost hundreds in fees to recharter.
I don't think you were flipping out on me. At least I hope not. (I am from NY as well).HeimdalX wrote:
I find it funny that you are worried about your taxes over the few million max it will take to get them out when the US spends 2.5-3 billion dollars a year to supply Israel with weapons.
And for those complaining about personal responsibility, hurricanes. You live by the fucking ocean and you don't expect it? Give me a break. How much of your tax dollars were shelled out for that?
And for Headstone, wow you live in New York and it has high STATE taxes, which did not and will not pay for these people being evacuated. Move to another state or stop bitching about them. You can't even spell and you insult people that went to Lebanon saying they never completed high school, looks like you didn't either bitch.

I know this might sound like I'm being a bit picky, but random capitalization and that particular use of the word "Gaul" isn't doing much in the way of written argument.<[onex]>Headstone wrote:
Its childish for me to be MAD because they have the Gaul to criticize the Govts So called slow response? BULLSHIT. I Know there duel citizens, But they Choose to visit these countries against US warnings. The sensible thing for these duel nationalists is to stay where its Safe until told otherwise. I mean How many times can you tell someone that most of the Mideast is unstable, and that Anything could happen without any notice? My post childish? Shit dude i live in NY man, I pay More taxes than Any other state in the country basically, Like i need more burden. I even have a frigging Hybrid car that isn't helping much, because I'm also pissed about a war that has lasted well over the time line, Its created Higher everything for us. Now we have to flip the bill for people who choose to travel to unstable lands.
Just makes sense to me that if its unstable, wait it out, use the mail to communicate, whatever ya need to do to stay in touch and SAFE. I just dont agree with crying and complaining over a response that we didn't even have to address.
Fuck you shithead, I dont need to spell correctly to get my point across to Idiots the likes of you. I might not be able to spell all that good, but i sure as fuck can build computers, code games and software, and fix more high tech shit than you ever could imagine. So i really dont give a fuck what you think of my education level. As for the moving out of NY comment, I sure as hell would IF i didnt have to see 6 different doctors a week because of 9 surgeries from breaking my back while WORKING.HeimdalX wrote:

For the record, im not against the evacuation of these folks, But what set me off was The notion of them EXPECTING Imediate action by the Govt. Like i said before, we needed to find civilian transport, we couldnt bring in big military ships. This would have been viewed as an act of war also by the extremist states. There complaining is what set me off.
On another note, I feel that New Orleans shouldnt be rebuilt, How many fucking times do we have to rebuild the damn place? When will they learn that if you build a city and surround it by water on all sides, that its going to flood after even a slight rain shower? let alone get even a slight storm surge and you get mass flooding because someone was stupid enough to build a major city way below sea level!
If you're not paid with US dollars then you don't have to pay US tax. My dad is an US citizen living in sweden, but he's not paying taxes to the US. That would ruin him.doxy wrote:
as far as i know, u have to pay US taxes to be an US citizen, no matter where you live, what you do, who you support. why do you people care about their transportation so much, if it is allready paid, and legit. no worries, they are all americans.
And how do you suppose they wouldve got out?<[onex]>Headstone wrote:

The airport has been obliterated (well, its runways, anyway).
The seaports are blockaded.
The roads are under constant attack.
Oh yeah. One more, not-so-related thing.
For what reason did Israel just bomb a CHRISTIAN, ANTI-HEZBOLLAH TV transmitter? What are they trying to cover up, another massacre like the one in 1996?
