its what you get to reward people on informative posts, witty remarks, nice sigs , ect, welll thats what i use mine for, also i try give cougar one regularly lol.
you used to be able to give people negative karma but the mods changed it so that there wasnt any bad vibes going round i guess,, so now we are all +.
