I also don't see how using the term "Yankee" makes me racist.  At worst, it could be called nationalist.  In actuality, it's the same as me calling a Brit a Pom, or a Russian a Russki, and a Jew a...........Jew.............

So saying Yankee slang turns it racist?  If I'd said stupid Yankee slang, sure.  I didn't.  Besides which, insulting Americans would be nationalist not racist.  Insult blacks or whites or indigenous Africans would be racist.  And Jew isn't any more racist a term than white: it's a descriptor.  It might be used as part of a racist remark, but then so could "the", and you'll find it hard to argue that that's racist.

anyway, back on topic. I think comparing the Challenger 2 to the M1A2 Abrams is like comparing a Formula 1 car to a NASCAR car. Both are very capable sports cars, very fast and efficient.
Still, both also have considerable differences in design and were constructed to perform in different tactical roles.

But both are highly developped machines and I think in a direct confrontation, the quality of the crew would make the difference.

An abrams doesnt break down LOL And it doesnt get close enough to get shot and destroyed. The C2 might be the only tank that could take an Abrams, but Unless it was stolen, you wont ever see it in a war against one. BTW, Have a retired Bud in Manchester who use to drive tanks, he syas the C2 isnt without its many faults. He also said the C1 was so riddled with problems(and so heavy) it wasnt even Battle worthy in HIS opinion. I dont know, because ive never seen one up close, But he sure has.
