I play all Games Workshop games as I work for them! lol
In my shop myself, my Manager and the other full time staff member along with about 4 regular customers play regularly together on BF2.

ravenwing ftw!!
40K FTW, at least until I bought BF2 in April.
Now, it's up to GW to lure me back with some tasty new Eldar.... Mmmmmm Eldar!

warhammer online does look damn good though !!!
Risk, some beer, some dutchies and some friends... nice evening
Guaranteed to be a subscription thing though. Think I'll stick with BF2 for now and see what the rest of the new Eldar looks like when it comes out.
rock on chaos
ha ha they cant stand up to the mite of Chaos, Spandex Vs Power armour...DoctorFruitloop wrote:

I really used to like some of the miniature wargames. But then it got too expensive to play, and the 'normal' players around here just made it not much fun anymore.
If I wanted to argue about rules for ever, I would have gone to law school.

Heh, I've got a massive 40K game planned tonight. My glorious Chaos vs. Tyranids vs. Orks vs. Witch Hunters........nothin like thrashing the armies of a few good friends into the wee hours of the morning...
Yeah, that'd be why most of the recent Grand Tournaments have been won by Eldar players.Mr.H@x0r wrote:

You may be in for a shock when the new Codex comes out.
I used to play Epic and Mighty Empires about 15 years ago.... I wish I'd saved my money so I could spend it on fast cars and loose women now... *sigh*
I played WH40K. Started with Dark Eldar cuz they came in the rule set box, then Blood Angels, then Necrons. I then sold them in reverse order and made over $350. Still have some Dark Eldar to sell.
It was a fun game, but a lot of the play time was setup time, and without someone to mediate there was always an arguement over some obscure rule.

Ah but the guy that won is commonly known to play the most boring game ogf 40k in the world that his opponents die of boredom and frustration like hiding his entire army to save victory points at a certain point in the gameDoctorFruitloop wrote:

Risk is the game
As my sig says, 40K Eldar for me. Been into GW stuff since Man O'War came out. I like the look of all the other stuff out there, and might give it a go one day, but i haven't finished painting my army and don't get to play often enough to start a new game system.
And right now if i get a free hour i am on the PC playing BF2. I do go through phases of loosing interest and think about selling it all, but get back into it and am glad i didn't.
