choppers usually fly low at the height of trees to avoid radar and AA

in real life when you get a solid tone from an enemy AA signerature your pretty much done for, sometimes flares are worthless too....

I woke up thinking, how do jets avoid AA in RL? I know they have flares but I read somewhere that the newer AA byepasses the flares because they're not heat seekers.

yea i forgot about that radar stuff. the enemy radar missile sites bounce radio waves off the incoming aircraft so the missile can track the incoming plane. but if you are flying low or you have a certain absorbant paint or jagged edges on your plane the radio waves bounced at your plane disperse harmlessly and the missile cannot track you. ingenious stuff
they so need to make the AA missles worse in BF2 but the miniguns faster and more powerful, i recon that would balance it out so AA-Plane ratio is more realistic.Gamematt wrote:
