It would appear that the political left's policy of shunning the Fox News channel is eroding and they are beginning to understand why it is that Fox enjoys the ratings that it does. He openly admits that it was a mistake to shun an appearance of the Factor during the campaign and goes on to say that the military option is on the table with regards to Iran.

I don't know if John Kerry is a symbol of the "political left". He has associates all over the political realm and to go so far and make that jump...is to be assumptious.

Is there anyone that genuinely likes Kerry?
I always figured it was an "anybody but Bush" thing during the election, and that after he'd lost, he'd disappear off the political map permanently.

I would like him if he was just using the "pull out troops in Iraq within one year" crap as a political move to sway some of the other (more retarded) Democrats to side with him. Otherwise, if he truly believes in such a goal, I couldn't say I'd support him.

I'm not certain that anybody of serious intellect should appear on the Factor.  Bill O'Reilly has shown himself to be a pompous prevaricator that does not bother to check facts on many occasions.

Not to mention the fact that he likes to use a loofah in odd ways.

But if Kerry is aiming to pick up the "total fucking moron" vote, more power to him.  In fact, this appears to be a segment that Bush has been losing based on this story:

What's the criterion for total fucking moron status?

I'm not sure... guess you'd have to ask Gallup.    But I'd guess that whether or not you are a fan of a pompous, lying bubblehead could be a factor.

The thing about him is, he is unbiased and goes for more of a bullshitometor approach. Because he is not particularly biased, he doesn't invoke strong emotions in people except those who only regurgitate things they've heard other people say.

Oh, I've seen the show alright.  His blend of show is more of a "let me tell you what to think, here's a person for balance, but I'll dominate the show and make sure my audience still knows what to think" than a clear presentation of facts.  There's a reason for the word "truthiness", and it probably wouldn't be possible without Bill because he won't let facts get in the way of what feels right.

Did he ever apologize for accusing US soldiers for the Malmady massacre?  Or did he just "spin" it as a misunderstanding?  I know for a while his transcript was scrubbed/changed to reword it at one point to appear less egregious.

If someone wants to talk about the sanctity of marriage (that of which is made considering EMOTION of LOVE), then they have no place disregarding the homosexual's right to such--as a Republican...on the Fox channel, am I right to assume he holds such (a position)?

copy and paste an argument?  Hardly... that was just pure sarcasm for a poll that someone else wrote.  I cut and paste it... but not to argue a point.  It was to take a backhanded stab at Factor fans with a good bit of humor.  As for the argument of whether the Factor is a show for serious people?  Is there an argument here?  His show is a joke with high (but declining) viewing audience.

The Factor is entertainment at best.  But if you wanted to have a skewed view of serious issues, watching his show every night would be a good start.

Oh, I get your point now.  My bad.  Yes.... many (null) arguments from Mr. O'Reilly virtually every segment.  Kudos to you for the Colbert report mention.

Colbert ftw.

Unfortunately with the two-party system, most people I know did not vote FOR Bush or FOR Kerry, but rather voted AGAINST Bush or AGAINST Kerry.  It's really sad that our elections are typically for the lesser of two evils.

As has been stated already, a politician has more of a chance of being taken seriously on his views and asked better questions on either The Daily Show or The Colbert Report than they do from The O'Reilly Factor.  It's sad when one gets a better view of politics and world events from a show on Comedy Central than they do from an actual propaganda media outlet, oops I mean Fox News. If you are Right then expect to have your ego experience verbal fellatio and if you are Left or against O'Reilly in any way on any view of his then expect to be interupted, called an idiot, treated like a child and then have your words fed back to you as a last sound bite in the complete wrong context.

While I'm more a Centrist rather than Democratic or Republican, it's really not worth anyones time to go on that show unless you want to cater to those who watch the show because they like to feel informed and educated instead of actually being informed and educated. So that in turn they can tell their even less informed and dumber friends about how smart they are because they grasped the 3rd grade level banter on a child's political platform show.

And that faux news article about GWB's supporter percentages. Funny as shit!

BTW my IQ dropped just reading the transcript on the show. I've had much more intelligent and intriguing debates at 3am in the morning drunk after a night of drinking while eating breakfast and drinking coffee. Quite pathetic really.

Kerry is a spineless cunt. That man sold all of his credibility to the highest bidder during the last presidential election.
