Who actually climbs down ladders ? That's lame. What do we have parachutes for ? To land safely when our aircraft is shot ? Pah, of course to jump down ladders that are 5 meters tall and houses in Karkand!

I knew this the first round I played, otherwise it would let you jump off.
Maybe not many people know, but you can force the voice-over help again without uninstalling BF2 or anything of the sort.mtb0minime wrote:
About the guiding missile thing, I knew it when I first started playing AT kit a long time ago, and then forgot. Fortunately for me I reformatted my computer and got the whole voice help all over again, and then it told me and I finally remembered! AT isn't such a bad kit when you know that trick

Since this thread has other handy tips for ladders, a few more things just in case people didn't know them:
you can look about 160° left and right while on a ladder to check for enemies on your flanks (nearly looking behind you);
you can look up while moving down (press back) and you can look down and move up (also press back).
Now those two are probably so obvious that everyone knows 'em but maybe this one'll be new to people and might just save your ass every now and then:
two people can occupy the same space on a single ladder, friendlies or enemies, this means you can pass someone coming down while going up or climb at the same time as a teammate... so no queuing necessary.
