AF on LSD?

The glorious 1.3 patch made me so mad today(couldn't play anymore,CTD nonstop) that I re-installed the full 1.3 patch.
Then it worked again,playing online on TV2 24/7 Wake without problems,only the singleplayer kept crashing ingame.
So I thought I test the singleplayer again,load up Road Rage and tada,I'm in Wonderland.

So,this is how my AF now looks like after reinstalling the full 1.3 patch over my incrementally patched BF2 install:

The game didn't crash the whole map,but everything looks like it's made out of candy...
I guess I gotta delete the shader cache once again....and I definitely gotta do a full fresh re-install once the new patch is out.

I've had that problem on the menus with vanilla BF2 - but that comes from overzealous Alt/Tabbing.

Yup,that did the trick.Although just optimizing the shaders again would have be sufficient I guess...nevermind,new driver can't do much harm,maybe it even runs better.

same thing happened to me ,if i knew how to post a pic i would show u , but the problem happens when AF is installing ,something to do with unzipping one of the files. try updating/upgrade to winzip and reinstalling AF.

Looks like an overheated graphics card.... might be worth checking the temp on the vid card before you sizzle it...

Nope, just cleaned the card a few days ago,with the hot weather here(especially in my room) this was absolutetly necessary and it's 5°C cooler than before.

New graphics driver and optimizing shaders solved this..
