I feel like venting a bit...
For the last week and a bit I have not been having what's described as a "fun" time.
First, a week after visiting the dentist for some fillings I start getting extreme pain in one of my teeth. So painful that for two days last weekend I got no sleep at all.
I visit the dentist only for him to declare that the one causing excruciating pain that I can only drink water through a straw and forget about eating anything, is dead so i'll have to have a root canal soon. (have I mentioned I haven't eaten anything solid all week?)
He prescribes some anti-biotics to get rid of the infection and I ask for some strong painkillers only for him to say "nurofen is probably the best thing for this", something i'd already been taking in vast, vast, VAST quantities already only dulling the pain very slightly.
Also, during the past week i've been developing a cold too. So, nose, coughing etc.
I can hardly take time off work so i've been going into work with the normal crap.
I boot up my pc this morning to play a bit of BF2 and it comes up with a bsod saying run chkdsk /f, I try going into safemode same thing.
I dig out my bartpe cd, run it and run chkdsk /f on my raid it fixes a few very minor things. Boot up the pc, same bsod.
So, i'm now backing up my files using ghost and going to roll back to a month old backup of my system.
Not my week, on the plus side I have a ghost image backup a month old. So I can relatively easilly copy over my outlook pst file and other files etc too.
