I'm 33 and I work at a local trucking company. I used to drive the big trucks but my boss saw that I have some smarts and now I am a W&R inspector. (weight and research)
I dim and reweigh freight to increase our revenue. I also reclass freight using the NMFC classification book. Google NMFC to get a better idea of what I do. It's kinda fun but pays shit like most jobs a non-college grad gets.
I have 2 kids and a wife and can hardly support them. My only fun is bf2 and I suck at it!!!
So, you kiddies who are still in school... work hard and stay out of trouble so you don't wind up a waste of space like me. I'm not kidding.
