I farm potatoes oooh arrr.

I'm working partime at a pub, collect dishes,glasses etc and during the weekends i do potato farming. anything i earn however is going towards a trip to tanzinia, me and a couple of friends are going over there for World Challenge, we have to help build a school

I'm 17 and going into my senior year in high school. I already landed a great job that gives me a nice $10.50/hr which is awesome for any teenager. I've only been working here since mid-October and my pay went up from $7.75 to $10.50/hr. And since I am only 17, I hardly pay any taxes. So I put in about 30 hours a week and get over $250 take home money.

The main thing that I do the most though, is play guitar. I'm not exactly the greatest and I am half-way in a band, just jamming out really. Luckily there's a great guitarist at my work who gives me great guitar equipment for hardly anything. As of right now I have $3700 in guitar equipment and I only paid $650 for all of it. I am also going to buy a Steve Vai Ibanez Jem off of him for $300 which he paid $1800 for. My other passion is playing hockey. I don't have much experience since my parents would never pay for hockey gear for me. Luckily, my company I work for has a team and we play every week in the winter, I have a blast in that and the whole thing is for charity, the last game was a game against the Boston Bruins Alumni (including Ken Hodge and John Bucyk) and the Hanson Brothers. That was possibly the greatest day of my life, not to just be in the same arena as those legends, but to actually be on the ice and play against them, it's a dream come true. This job has been so great to me, I get to play ice hockey, get cheap guitar equipment, and get the best pay out of anybody else my age. Life is good.

19 years old from Sweden & unemployed and ashamed of it. I just want to have a big holiday now in the summer, maybe take driverslicens, but after the summer. I have no f*****g idea what to do...........

30 and an IT jack of all trades (admin/support/not-so-much programmer).  Work for the Tennessee Valley Authority, an arm of the U.S. gov't that handles river management, power generation on conversvation in the southeast United States.  More specifically, I work at a coal-fire/steam generation plant.  We can produce approximately 1500 megawatts of continuous power.  In short, we heat up water to make your lights come on.
