would be nice to know what "should be cheaper." means in $$$ amounts so I can tell you the top 3 for your budget. I can give you the names of the $600 cards, but if it bottlenecks your system or is incompatible the advice is kinda useless isn't it?

i agree, the 7800/7900/7950 are awesome cards, and the 7600 will play bf2 ok, but a 7300 will not be ideal at all, unless you are on a really tight budget

as Janus said we need a rough idea of your budget before reeling off lists of cards

Watch out for theese cards!!!! There are lots of faulty cards out there!!!! Read any manufactuers website, its very well documented. This applies to the 7900gt and gtx.

The 7950gx is rock solid, though. Plus I have it running at 7900 gtx speeds.

1900 XT

The 7950 is proven, especially at higher resolutions. It eats any other card for breakfast. The general rule is so won't see any diffrence unless playing at 1600x1200 though.

What kind of computer do you have? What are its specs? We need to know these things before recommending video upgrades.
