Possible, but unlikely, I'd say around 200. Nintendo has already said it will be less than $250
And the next bit...
Nintendo continues to pull out the tricks that they've been hiding in their sleeves all this time. Man do I love this company.

A recently published patent might reveal a further evolution in Nintendo's online plans.
The patent, originally filed in January and published online today, details an instant messaging service to be used in conjunction with an online gaming service. The patent mostly describes using the messenger through a home console, presumably Wii, but also through a handheld gaming system, presumably Nintendo DS.
Features explained include a standard buddy list which would display what game a friend is playing. Players would set up their buddy list in traditional ways-- by requesting they be added-- and would allow chat by using either a keyboard for text conversations or a microphone for voice chat. The keyboard would be displayed on-screen, or users could use an attached keyboard peripheral. Users could have themselves removed from another users buddy list, along with setting conventional safety modes such as block and invisible.
Players engaging in different activities (playing a game and browsing the internet) would still be able to communicate with each other. Users would have a personal profile, which could display information on game scores and stats along with more personal information-- age, location, hobbies, etc.-- if so desired. Each user would have an avatar which can be created using preset options or by uploading a picture. The patent also explains that each game system can house multiple users, so that different members of the family could sign on to their own accounts.
This is not confirmation of such a service. Should Nintendo implement such a service into Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or WiiConnect24, Nintendo may not use all of the options described in the patent. We'll have more as it breaks.
