Update: If you think you have valuable information to add to this topic PM me with details. I will give you credit.
Okay I dont want to hear anymore of this I hate the A10 stuff I will put up a guide showing how I own in one.
-------------
1st rule
Don't fire the MG unless at jeeps and transports or planes and helos dont fire it at AA or Armor.
The reason for this is everytime you shoot the MG at an AA he usually turns around and blows you out of the sky and shooting at an armor doesn't do anything. The second reason is because it does hardly any damage to, aps, or AA. TIP=when shooting at the airplane aim for the cockpit it usually kills them throught the cockpit.
-------------
2nd rule
Don't fly low to the ground
The reason for this is that you can bomb people without them seeing you which is helpful not being shot out of the sky. The area you should be flying in is the 150 to 200 ft or whatever the altimeter says any number inbetween there it is represented by the blue box.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6R8KbJiOTIk this video courtosy of CSI watch at what angle he aproaches and when he lets the bombs go it shows you that in the image it all dependes on what angle you take it at.
------------
3rd rule
Don't use the 4 bombs in twos use all 4 of them at once.
reason: so you have a better chance of hitting your target and you can always go back and refuel. The perfect bombing area on the A10 is represented by the red box if you can get the green box right in that area you should have a really good bombing run. When you deploy the first 2 tilt the nose down so you keep the box in the same spot and fire the second 2. It works like a charm.
------------
A few tips to add for the bombers.
1. the MG's do not hit dead center, they hit somewhere around 6 o'clock on the circular reticule, dogfighting is simple once you figure this out. I took out two little birds in a row within one pass across road rage last night... didn't miss a shot.
2. When you have AA lock its better to dive low and flare than to climb. If you get hit its usually minor damage, and more like a spank on the ass for flying sloppy. Most times they'll lose you in the trees.
3. On road rage you can almost fully repair your Bombers health from red-zone in two passes of the airfield by flying in-between the two takeoff fields and hangers. (If MEC and flying SU, make sure to pass over helipads for bonus repair)
4. Now I disagree with what a previous poster said about not firing MG's at tanks, sure it does little damage... but it does just enough so they cant run away from their burning tank after you bomb it.
5. I do agree on this though. NEVER FIRE MG's at AA!!! Dive in from 250m and Drop all four, than get the @#% out.
6. Check your six
My suggestion is to attack from the clouds, if you are not atacking, use the fog as cover and make attacks from the east and west not the north and south, the AA is less likely to pick you up before the kills. As you start your approach, hit the stationary AA with the minigun, easy kill and allows you to use your bombs on the Mobile AA that is probably close by. After your attack run, use the ground as cover to break any AA locks, head for the sides and use the water on Road Rage. If you can get the water and get low, most AA will not be able to track you. Once you get a safe distance climb back to the fog for your next run or to return for more ammo. I don't fly much but have found the A10 to be much easier to operate on RR than the J10 on Wake.
If you are going to go for AA on the highway be prepared to do a double drop. Aim for the first guy in the line and hit him and the second guy, the armor almost always travels in single file lines on the highways instead of using the grass. Usually the AA will be the second or third guy in line so make sure you come in steap on the first traget so the AA does not have time to pick you up.
Have fun and try not to TK for the A10
I will add more as I play with it some more.
