So I am sitting at work (GameOn gaming center), loading up Armored Fury for the first time.
I run a local of Midnight Sun because I was dying to fly the Q-5, and I suddenly notice the new music. My interest is suddenly piqued because in all the new Battlefield releases, there has not been any new music. For Christ's sake, when loading up a RUSSIAN map in Special Forces you would still hear the MEC load music.
Okay, I was just corrected. There WAS new music, but only in the form of the winning and losing themes for each army in Special Forces and Euro Forces. Speaking of which, how about somebody posting THOSE songs?
Anyway, I hear the music and I become very excited. And then there is the crescendo and suddenly nothing but the brass soloists, playing the Battlefield Theme. My co-worker and I are suddenly "SWEET EVIL JESUS!" as the theme flourishes.

We sat there listening to it over and over. He isn't too into Battlefield, but likes the music. I've been playing Battlefield since October of 2002, I've played every map, every mod, and every version. I know what "Your mother is a beaver" means!
And hearing a real orchestra play this music brought out......REVERENCE.
Hearing the theme like this made me want to put my hand over my heart and pledge allegiance to my favorite game series for the last four years....BATTLEFIELD!
I don't know if any of you feel the same way. I believe this music is incredible. It lends a certain ultimate feel to the war that exists in the Battlefield universe. Up until now the US has been fighting in foreign lands, in unfamiliar locations. And for the first time in 200 years, our homeland is truly threatened by an enemy nation. I hear this music and it is a battle call, crying "This is it!"
Of course, it's just a game, but I just about soiled myself when I heard the theme.
Anyone agree?
