Woohoo. nice vverk man
Truely time saving, & so much better than the original compare.
This feature alone makes this site the best BF2 stats page as if it wasn't allready.
Fine work sir, now if you were only on the de-bug team for EA/Dice
Heres my leader board http://bf2s.com/compare/45882622,479573 … 4,62738855

I love you!
Nice job I like this new feature. Now I don't have to go back and forth to compare myself to my worst enemies and best victims. Awesome Job!
what does Major League Baseball have to do with BF2?
About the compare page. If take this in a second browser tab - http://bf2s.com/compare/53416052,441643 … 5,59281675
I see 4 things I don't really like. I'll go past one by one.
Number 1: After the head text "Compare" you got the 8 player names. They are so long that it moves onto the next line under the "bar" that made for it.
Number 2: The "Favorite others" images are in my eyes too small. I can hardly see the difference between the used kits.
Number 3: Because "=TH=[Hellhammer]-NL-" is a very long name it stretches the whole name box and numbers all the way down.
Number 4: Because the player names are so long the left "explain/what is it" column is very small which generates with long names like "Operation Smoke Screen" and "Grenade Launcher Attachment" a big box across the screen - so the speak.
Keep up the good work and once again congrats on the interview from EA. Btw, did you get since the interview also more page views?
Poncho
Oh and another thing. Some forums have a feature that when you are creating a reply it just looks/works like a word document. So in other words, using things like ctrl-b or clicking on different text color works alot faster.
edit: Number 5: The column of frysiansoldier goes over the background border, if you see what i mean.

This site keeps getting better and better.
Speed, great functions and super design.

Heh, I always think that when talking about MY "MLB".ShEpArD_oF_rOt wrote:

Not really sure how to handle this one -- I can't do a string cut because the font is a variable width thing, so it'll neer look right.Poncho wrote:

Use the roll-overs luke! They're mostly there for fun -- in comparison'ing they really don't matter. I'm honestly not even sure if they SHOULD be there.Poncho wrote:

Fixed this. I had fixed it for the very top linked names -- forgot to do it for the repeats.Poncho wrote:

Fixed as best it can be now.Poncho wrote:

I have no idea if that boosted traffic or not.Poncho wrote:

Add a feature request -- perhaps duk0r will get inspired to do such a mod.Poncho wrote:

Thanks Chuy. I can definitely see the difference.
One small thing still. If you look again at the page. (http://bf2s.com/compare/53416052,441643 … 5,59281675)
You can see the column of Sjizzo and after the scores his name is centered at the right while the others are centered at the left.
That's all. Once again, Thanks.
btw, chuy is not recognized by the spelling checker. lol

now they are. they weren't. chuy changed it quick. he must have. else i'm getting nuts. lolliquidat0r wrote:

no, didn't change that since yesterday
In the Sjizzo-column there is a discrepancy between the topmost name, and the name that runs down through each category.. If they were lined up the same it would look neeter imo
(Now I'm pretty sure 'neeter' isn't a word - but hey! i'm Norwegian )

Is being a lone wolf bad? Becuase i have the most lone wolf time and it shows up as "Bad" and gives me a worst for that. Heres a link http://bf2s.com/compare/47503418,47650865,65749326
Just noticed something, in the leaderboard I have, I have the same lowest death streak as another guy, although he has it counted as a best. Surely if a stat is joint highest/lowest we should both get a best/worst? Or neither get it? http://bf2s.com/compare/44923051,44975254

It's whoever is listed first: http://bf2s.com/compare/44975254,44923051
But yes, they should both me marked as worst, best, or none.

I found an issue...
I just added someone to my leaderboard. He has pretty high stats, and is near teh top. But then I click "Home" and it takes me to the homepage...
And teh person I just added isnt listed there, its the same order it was before I added someone...
But I love having the compare functionality back...Great job Chuy!

Just thought of something - would be cool if you were able to select oe of the people you are comparing, and then it would add another coloumn onto the end basically telling you how much more you would need to do to get the best in that. Like amount of time, number of kills/wins/hits for ratios/accuracies. Dunno how much work that would be, but would be cool to see.
Its been working great so far though

Thanx for the new compare mode! Adapted in my plugin now..
Yay i can be even more lazy! thx chuy
With the Compare thing.
Can you make it so there are totals at the bottom of each category, because I compared the Top 5 players in my clan and my "Best Count" came in way higher then the rest mainly because I played SF a lot more then they had and came in Best on most of the SF stuff.
The reason for the totals on each category would be there so you can compare the players on a certain category, you can do that at the moment but I don't want to have to count how many "Best Counts" each player has in the certain category just so I can find out.
Also is it possible to have a check list at the top were you can tick what category's you want to compare and what ones you don't want to?
