I am sure the majority of BF2 players consists of people who are in high school, college or working full time.

Considering the increasing number of adults  playing online games, like Battlefield 2, Call of Duty, WoW and others, it might be  interesting to learn more about the background of fellow gamers.

Does anyone else agree with me that college is one of the most overrated experiences of your life thus far? It was so hyped up during the last two years of high school, and when I finally arrived...I discovered it was essentially school after the novelty wore off, albeit with a few paramount differences. I enjoy it, but it is not rife with the experiences I had intended.

Although it was Trans-awareness week a few weeks ago here at the University of Washington, but that more scared me than anything else.

Agreed,
I use a little college related education in my current job.... most of it and life in general is just good old fashion common sense.
Btw, my current job is designing fixtures for testing aircraft (jet) engine parts & completed assemblies for the major companys like Rolls-Royce, Pratt-Whitney, G.E., and Boeing amoung others.

Just finished College.
There is a problem with this thread though, the school systems in a lot of the countries represented here are different. In England you normally finish College at 18.

Ok, people, explain your educational system. I'll start.

In sweden you'll start school as a 6 year old going from 1st grade to 9th grade. At that time you'll be 15-16. Then you'll go to the gymnasium (NOT GYM!) for three years i.e. 1st grade to 3rd grade. Then you'll either work or go to university. The time you spend on the uni depends on what kind of education you choose, but the average time is like 5-7 years. All education in sweden is free, you don't have to pay for anything (Except books, which will cost you hell in the end anyways)
