Man this is a tough one,you should be able to have 3 votes like polling day! had to go with the original because of the impact it had! some of the lines were superb too! it was also the first film i ever saw at the cinema! think i was only five!lol but i remember it all! Empire Strikes Back

this is probably my favorite one of the lot, i also like Return of the Jedi, but i am choosing Empire because it brings back a lot of memories of my childhood.

dont think i had Return on video, so when ever i was off school sick i used to watch Empire. i can just remember being about 6-9 years old and sitting on the couch with my pillow pretending i was sick so i could stay off school.

empire yeah.

dark, black humour, darth vader being a bastard, limbs removed, best music score, amazing stop motion animation (imo, much more impressive than modern cgi).

it only just pips new hope tho, which is the purest of the star wars movies... its just looking like a near 30 year old movie now.

EMPIRE FTW!  Can't believe its actually winning here.. I was expecting to be in the minority.  Second I'd vote for Jedi.... then third would be Hope.  All the new ones (ep. 1-3) suck ass in my opinion.  My favorite out of the three of them would be ep. 2.

he said he would never release the originals (4-6) on dvd in their original format when he released the dvd sets, so we all ran out and bought the 'touched up' reissues..

typical of that lying cunt, he has now retracted that, and is planning to release them in september.  now, i feel that ill have to go buy them AGAIN.  he is one dollarwhore fuckbag.  i resent star wars (ish) because HE made them... 

i can only imagine what his TV spin off is gonna be like when it gets aired (for those who dont know about this, he is planning to make tv series' covering the periods between ep2 and ep3, focusing on boba & jango fett, amongst others.

George is planning to re-realease all 6 movies in 3D-movie format. Next year, would be really cool. And the box on Un-restaration will be on the market in september. The old movies as they were then they were realeased. Pretty cool with suckyier soundeffects
