PS3, 360 or dare I say it Wii

E3 is basically over, what were you impressions....not. E3 was horrible this year. So what I'm asking is from what you've heard and seen this year which are the leading contenders. Try naming all three, and then narrowing it down to two.

For me it's the PS3 and Wii. Extremely innovative and the PS3 is a powerhouse machine that won't be replaced 10 years from now. Wii, despite critics in the past, has proven its worht with its gmes and its new design of controllers.

Srry 360 fans, I'm jsut not impressed. All it is is better graphics and new repetitive FPS. There is Fable 2 and Oblivion but they're virtually the same in most aspects. So the 360 loses major points in creativity.

Only weakness of PS3 is its price, but its always been the most expensive at its releases, and the fact that not enough games are backing it exclusively. I mean Metal Gear Solid 4, the new Devil May Cry, Tekken (not a big fan) Gran Turismo and those new ones at the Sony Press Conference were kick ass, but let's just hope the actual gameplay is as good as the pre rendered stuff or better.

I never like consouls. The controllers are just stupid, like that little joystick thing you have to aim with? I spent a minute trying to aim at my mate's head but just before I fired he noticed and moved, (Halo 2.)

There's the other thing about having to buy the next generation consol. I mean, those who buy the Xbox have an awesome machine for about two years, and then are left with an obsolete piece of junk!

I will only ever buy a consol when I have money to burn.

Im not sure im going to bother with a next gen console i think im gunna spend my money on upgrading this piece of crap, the latest graphics card and a new processer prehaps, but i think that the PS3 has brought the Playstation up and away from its Chav stereotype, so if i was going to get a next gen it would be the PS3, seriously if you go on google vid and look up some of the games the PS3 will be having, its awesome, the next Final Fantasy looks frickin amazing, i also like the idea of using the controler like the Wii, but better, no crappy add-ons you have to buy..

Nintendo will take seat # 3 for sure. How do you get Fable 2 and Oblivion being virtually the same in most aspects? If that's the case Oblivion, Fable 2, every Final Fantasy, Zelda, Everquest, etc, are all the same in most aspects...

Oh my, oh my. All people saying the PS3 is the best - open your eyes! You are living in the past - on a former glory! The PS3 is hardly better (if at all) than the Xbox360 and the games WILL cost MORE! The Wii is just great because of it's price and innovation. The only thing Sony have done is stolen other companies work, got rid of rumble on their controller, and stuffed a terrible (copying Nintendo) motion sensor system into their controller. Also, I think that Blu-Ray is a mistake...
Take a tumble, Sony. It happened to Nintendo, and now it's got to happen to you.

Ninty all the way, i had the nes, i had the snes, i had almost all the gamboys, the N64, the gamcube, i did say i dont want a console, cause of my pc but i just love ninty and I DONT CARE WHO KNOWS IT, nintendo are just awesome, just think about who came up with having a thumb stick on a controller, who came up with having motion sensors and look who steals it! i dont care about the system specs i just like them cause of the games, i still breakout the old nes and have 2 player co-op on super mario bros 3, but more often mario kart on the N64 (Best 1 IMHO).

Then +1 me, brother! Anywho, I owned basically all the same as you did. However, I have also owned a PS1, PS2, DS, and PSP. The PS1 broke practically straight away - refund. PS2 broke after about 1 month - refund. PlayStation 'fanboy' broke my DS, , and so I got a refund (waiting for DS Lite). PSP was just trash with the screen scratching to hell - refund. I don't like Sony because of this - maybe it's just bad luck, but the GameCube was better than the PS2...

Hands down the Wii. Why because they have the games that would suck on the computer but are great for consoles. All the games for the 360 and ps3 I would get for PC anyway.
