How many of you use a fake persona online?
In the past couple of months, I've seen a few members reveal that they haven't been altogether truthful about what they have posted. Granted, this is an online forum and pranksters, jokesters, and people posting in the safety of anonymity is gonna happen, but recently we had someone post in a thread that was based on "what do you look like?".
The principle was to put real faces with players. Many people have posted in there, and after the discovery that one of the posters misrepresented themselves, it started a debate that needed a place to continue. I started this thread because it really bugs me when someone exploits other people's attempts to be friendly truthful and open. This forum and community is a great place, and I enjoy meeting other players and making online friends with the people here. I hate to see it tarnished by false representations.
Ok, ok, enough of my hallmark card BS'in. Just answer the damn poll......
