I like the fact that I can at least understand them.

On a side note:
French soldiers would be funny on so many different levels. LMAO!!!

Quite frankly, i'm kinda pissed off that by setting Audio to English VO only... All British (SF) and EU characters become American.

What?  We're THAT hard to understand that it's no longer classed as English? ? ?

This accent is NOT english. I repeat, this accent is NOT english.

It seems to be a mix between dutch, german and french, all in one sounding like some idiot (especially when calling for a medic)

If you want a british accent, hook me up with a TS and I'll let you hear mine. Even the SF accents aren't that good... we don't actually have accents that make us sound posh...

I use English VO only, sad to say but all the screaming in foreign tongues annoys the crap  out of me.  The one drawback is I can't tell friend or foe by the language like I used to.

Not really a Brit

I can pretty much guarantee it's not a Brit talking, but an American or something trying to impersonate an accent. Americans impersonating British accents are always funny, makes them sound so ridiculous.

From what I have noticed, whatever country of origin the gun is, that's what their accent will be. FAMAS is french, HK21 is German, SA80 is British and so on. If some guy throws a smoke grenade, it sorta sounds British but I think the people voicing that one had a bunch of crap in their mouth or something when they did it.

I somehow can't imagine actual SAS guys communicating like that on the battlefield.  I mean, most Brits don't sound like Benjamin Disraeli with a broomstick up his ass, do they?  Especially not the British soldiers?

"Starlight [whatever the fuck that is], to my position now!"
"What ammunition do you require?"
"Requesting R.E.M.E. support [whatever the fuck that is] at this coordinate, over!"
"Drone transmitting on this frequency"
"Additional foxhounds [WTF??] required at this location, over!"
"We've regained control, excellent effort"

Man, who the hell wrote those scripts?

Yeah english voices are very hard to understand i have no idea what the hell they are doing it depends though some english accents arent as heavy and you can understand them but some are so english i have no idea what kind of english they are speaking lol.

Same goes for Americans depending on where they are from like Texas or whatever they have that heavy twang accent and have no idea what the hell they are saying either.

But english girls are sexy and i love england so yeah

For Capt_Kefra,

You obviously have no experience of the Army whatsoever
R.E.M.E. stands for Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Often referred to as 'Ree-me' for short. The UAV would probably be operated by the Royal Signals. I dunno what the Starlight is on about, never heard of that. The correct name is R.M.C, the Royal Medical Corps. That's pronounced 'corr' rather than 'corpse'. If i hear ONE more English person say 'Lou-tenant' i will scream. It's 'Lef-tenant' you fools. At least in English it is. One of the ONLY words you Americans have it correct in. It is indeed spelt 'Lou-tenant. I'm proud of my English heritage though, so it's 'Lef-tenant' to me.
The voices are NOT British. At all. Wanna know what British is? Join my squad and i'll VOIP you. Apparently i sound posh. To Brits. I hate stereotypical British. Always speaking Queen's English, drinking tea or whatever. I don't even LIKE tea!

This, I would very much like to see.
Couldn't we have a special expansion pack 'Broken Europe' or something like that with the IRA and other infamous European terrorist groups recking havoc against the armies of Europe. Just imagine the IRA vs the SAS! "Take that you f***ing English ba****ds!"

"Starlight" is apparently a NATO codeword for Medic.  Only thing I can find on it is this, from the Australian Army:  http://www.scanaustralia.bigpondhosting … /Army1.htm  - From this list, the R(A)EME has the codeword "Bluebell".  Bet the Aussie engineers are jealous of the medics on that one...

"Hey, Bluebell get over here and fix the flat on my truck!  *snigger*"

Anyway, the Euro-forces accent is nonsense.  I can't even tell what it's meant to be, except some kind of hideous amalgam of German and French accents.

The idea of a drunken Irish voice-over is appealing...  Change "Enemy Armour Spotted!"  to "Sweet sufferin' Jaysus, they've got a tank, so they have!".

Not so sure about the Northern Irish option, though.  Frankly, that lot are so hard to understand as it is that a version of them done by the shitty voice-actors EA seem compelled to use would be pointless.  Can you imagine one of those incompetents trying to impersonate someone as unintelligible as Gerry Adams or Ian Paisley?  Sheesh...

Though... You could change "Go, squad, go!" to "Tiocfaidh ár lá!", and "Negatory." to "Ulster says NO!".
