Every so often the computer is either on or off and some voice coems out of nowhere. And i'm like holy crap who is it and I hear that its from my speakers. Short messages about 10 sec long that sound like two way radio messages. Pretty creepy eh?

Do you have a webbrowser open at the time? Some ads come with annoying voice spam, unless you use Mozilla and a real pop-up blocker. Some ads are integrated into the page with voice and you can't do nothing about those but leave the page.

I once had a radio that kept playing stuff (though at a muted volume) even when it's turned off. My current Altec Lansing speakers play super-loud input barely audibly when turned off.

My speakers are California Acoustic. One time I pulled that angry german gaming kid act on one of them and snapped it. It still works just needs to hug my monirtor and tower to stay in place. And well, I just pick up messages

lol, a few years ago when i liked to play guns with my friends (YES, i liked to play guns when i was little, who didnt?) we found a walkie talkie and decided to use it, nad we heard a plane radio, and we knew it was a plane because there was one flying above us, and he was talking about landing the plane. pretty weird though, because the range is only like 100m in that thing.

They are two way comms. Most likely police traffic. I get them now and then too.

yep i had speakers that picked up a radio station. it was pretty dam annoying. and my friend had the exact same ones, and had the same problem, so stay away from em. it wasnt loud, granted, but it was still annoying.

it happens because your speaker n wat ever is transmitin is on the same frequency i used to get the pd's dispatcher all the time talkin to the cops funy shit thats why most of your cordless phones come wit receivers tht you can change the channel of it so that kinda shit doesnt happen
