What is wrong with Iran having a nuclear power station program? I'm all for it - give them a cheap, sustainable fuel source that doesn't cost the earth in greenhouse gasses. Okay, so it may be bad ecologically in other ways, but none so immediate. And you never know, there may be something in the pipeline to safely deal with the spent fuel rods.
Aardfrith supposedly the nuclear plant they have is not the kind that only produces power. It also has the ability to produce nuclear weapon grade material. Thats why everyone is nervous about this.
I think we need to be able to decifer the difference between modern civilization (Britain,US,France..etc..) and a radical muslim regime. Let's not forget these are the people who said Isreal should be wiped off the face of the earth. BTW Isn't Iran sitting on a virtual non ending source of oil (Power)?
