I bought it as soon as it came out, anything for new ranked maps. And they turn out to be the biggest load of bullshit since Bill Clinton was in office.

There is absolutely no content whatsoever to any of the new maps !
Take the original six maps, and even the SF maps, they have so much minor detail, well laid out, time was actually dedicated to their creation.
With EF, two are just huge masses of land with 0 content, apart from some dodgy *smoke*, and Great Wall has the playability of a RubixCube.

I don't mind paying $10 for new maps, but when their empty, it really grinds my gears

According to your stats you have 5 hours playing this game so unless you are starting a new account or something stop starting bitch threads. We have enough 1000 hour guys to do that for you.

I really do not understand why they don`t give to us some smart citymaps - and the next release (battle in the us)  doesn`t have city maps either.....

Wake up EA and give the people what they want......

They did give people what they want, there are some great city maps in special forces. Too bad so many people dont want to buy it for some reason.

They are obviously trying to please the other half of the community with Euro Forces by adding more vehicles.

i love it i think its great and the maps are awesome to get some major points on!

Funny how people complain about every EA release but still buy the games.  Ya the games are full of bugs but still hundred times better than the old days when there was no internet to patch the games.  Don't any of you remember those days?

Well u have to buy the game and play it, then complain, u cant complain without first playing it can you.

I can't think of too many other things you can buy that provides unlimited fun for $10.00

Shit, I spent $10.50 on my lunch today and that only lasted for 5 minutes!!

The new maps kinda grow on ya.  I hated Great Wall with a burning passion than can only be equaled by Paris Hilton's STD count at first, but I kinda like it now.  I think the battle should be inside the wall exclusively.  It's no fun driving around for 5 minutes trying to find an entrance and getting AT mined once you finally do. 
Taruba is pretty fun.  I like how wide open it is.  Provides for some good flanking but keeps you on your toes at the same time since you don't have much cover. 
I haven't played smoke screen on foot much yet.  My roomate and I always go for the attack choppers.  What little I played of it  on foot seems fun though.  I'm really glad a lot of the control points have buildings around them and not just a crappy fence (that stops tank shells....?) and some rocks.  There is a really well placed tow by that point with the fence/rocks.  I got 3 tanks in a row today from there. 

Overall I'm glad I bought it.  There need to be servers that run BF2 and EF maps though...I've yet to play on one.

Yes the GREAT WALL is the best map, it needs that 'dirt feel'; like Karkand and Warlord. BTW, there are 24/7 GReat WAll maps lets fill them all up like Karkand once was!! There are actually a couple but one doesn't rotate -- speedygameserver 38.100.195.64:16567 32 ranked; and the other is a clan that is only to 16 players, but if you want to rotate the 3 maps-- well...
