right, i folowed the instructions carefully before any of you smart asses make the comment, and then when installing it it gets the the TARABE QUARRY installation and then guess what? a little message comes up saying CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. i need major help, theres no chance im contacting EA coz last time i did so, it took them 3 weeks to give me a simple reply saying "maybe you dont have the right graphics card"
omg, i cant isntall it, im annoyed

Q: I encounter an install error at Great Wall Client.zip
A: Go to C: \Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\accountn ame\. You should see the EF file you downloaded. Move it out of there, or delete it. Then redownload EF. Unfortunately, until we track down this issue this is the only workaround.

its basically the same problem... mine was stalling the same way, i redownloaded and it worked.. there is s link for redownloading it on the EA purchase page. I had to uninstall EA downloader and reinstall as well. give it a shot...

Yes I Had This Too. I Believe that you should re-download, as thats what happpned and now im fine.....
