K, had the (apparently common) problem, I DLed EF, installed, and went to play.

"You must buy EF, click here for the website" [insert cursing and being angry at EA]

Okay, here is the fix: (ill try to be as clear as possible)

1: Get back into EA Downloader

2: Under the Game Manual button, there is an option to _Edit Gamespy Nickname_ - click that

3: Youll be prompted to login again, do so

4: Eventually, you will be able to change your GameSpy Nickname. Change it to the account that you want to play EF with.

5: Apparently, it seems you have to do that everytime you play with a different account. How gorram annoying.

Also faced the same problem until a couple oif minutes ago, downloaded EF booted up the system and ..............'you must buy, etc, etc'

Anyway tried the above fix as and the good news everyone is that it works immediately!!  Thanks 'cannibal  :-) 

Now if only EA could provide support as good as the people who play the game.

The problem is with me that i tried the above and the first times i didnt understand it and now that i do understand it it says i cant change my name more than 3 times a week *insane laughter*

see what pisses me off....is i didnt know about all this bullshit and now i have to fuckin wait a week....you want to see a grown as man pissed off....yea thats me! wtf is this bullshit EA is tryin to pull....why cant they just make it fuckin easy like SF or something where you buy it in a fuckin store or you just download and install the files! wtf...i liked them till i downloaded this shit but now im just straight pissed....1 fuckin week to play a fuckin game i gave them money to play! yea, thats bullshit!
