Whenever my computer has been turned off for more than like  6 hours, when i sleep or w.e, when i go to turn it back on all my lights flicker on and it turns on for a half a second then it all turns off.
After that there is no response from the system at all and i just take the battery out of my mobo for 5 min and then it works for some reason.

That sounds a bit weird. You might try clearing the CMOS cache with the jumper switch, though taking out the battery and unplugging the computer should already do that. If all else fails, you can get a new cmos chip from your motherboard's manufacturer for relatively cheap. It doesnt sound like a power supply issue, as that would manifest mostly when the computer is under the heaviest load (while playing bf2, for example).

Try clearing the cmos and see if that helps at all.

the cmos is the part of the motherboard that saves the motherboard bios settings. If you still have your motherboard's manual you can look up where the jumper switch is, it should be pretty near the motherboard battery. Resetting it is a pretty simple process.
