I listen to music while I play, and whenever I get into a jet or heli, the music is hard to hear. I tried binding the volume shortcut key that I use for winamp - ctrl+alt+up on a scroll wheel on my X52...didn't work. I've tried binding one key to Ctrl+Alt then use the scroll whell for up or down, but it still did not work.

Any ideas?

i would venture to guess that winamp just simply doesnt have joystick support

I figured any program would, considering I've got the software to bind keyboard keys to the joystick...but who knows. It would be cool if I could get volume control on this bad boy...

there is a nifty little program called "joy-to-key" out, not sure but its probably a good bet to try it, i know some guys remap there mouse button 1 to it so that when they fly they can still spot things.

I would try that.

Yea, I've got it and my Saitek software does the same exact thing as JTK, only a little bit more elaborate.

I've got a one key "instant spotted" button on my joy, works like a charm.
