Hey everyone,

I just bought a new laptop for school (AND BF2 ) anyways here are the stats

2.0 Ghz T2500 Core Duo Processor
7800 Go Vid Card
1 Gig 667Mhz Ram
7200 RPM 80 Gig HD
WUXGA 17" Ultrasharp w/ True Life (YES THIS IS A DELL LAPTOP)


Anyways I tried playing BF2 today and from all the reviews I have read you can play High Settings, Atleast 1024 * 768 Res, but when I tried that today WOW did it just hang up and eventually BSOD and die!

Am I wrong on what I can play this on?

latest video drivers? if your getting bluescreens I doubt its a problem with your graphics settings in game, as an insufficient gpu will just cause your game to be very, very jittery. I know, I put my game to max settings with a geforce 6200 turbocache in just to see what it would look like.

make sure you have the drivers for your cpu and chipset installed as well, you can get those from your cpu and motherboard manufacturers respectively. Also, make sure you have the latest windows service pack installed. Try that and see what happens.
