It is very unprofessional to this to happen.

Someone at EA/DICE must get a big slap on their wrist for this. how they can firstly release the february date for Euro Force, then decide that it is not finished so change it to a bit later, then decide that it is still not finished and have to change the release date to march.

Either they do not know what they are doing, or someone has messed up big time and needs the sack

The reason they are delaying Euro-Force is because they are trying to fix the 1.2 debacle first, and I say that's the smart thing to do.

Of course the smarter thing to do would have been to make sure all the bugs were out of 1.2 BEFORE they released it.....

I can't understand people that bitch about this stuff. They could have released on it on their initially scheduled date and had it buggy, or delay it by a month and refine it more.

Oh, lets not forget DNF, HL2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (the games that I know of the top of my head), and the myriad of other games that have had their release dates pushed back.

Yes, it is a download only feature and will cost $10 (USD); you'll have to do your own currency conversion, along with any applicable taxes that may be involved.

Guys...keep it solid.
Here in Germay you can buy Euroforces since tuesday EA made a big mistake with the shipping order, so every electronic market became it - they simply couldn't stop the delivery process....
Of course, there are no online servers - but anyway, I personaly say: Nice booster pack. In single player (16P) the three new maps are very sweet. Great wall is one awesome "Karkand"-style map, Operation Smoke Wall a good fast open terrain map with vehicles and infantry, and Taraba is more for the hardcore vehicle player..
Skins and weapons blend good in, but the best part is how the expansion is integrated in bf2. it just copies some maps and skins in the original directory - after that it rans smoothly within the normal bf2 programm. no extra starting like sf....
the price here is 9,90 Euro, inside the dvd-box is only a 20 digit number, no dvd or paperwork....donwload only.
but i like it!

In my case, I bought two copies tuesday evening in a normal "karstadt" market.....
But you really don't need the dvdbox - the only thing you need is the download link and the serial inside.
So, if you trust anybody here in germany, let him buy the booster pack for you - he then needs just to send you the serial and link...

Our local MediaMarkt didn't have a copy so I bought it at the EB Games store.

And the game looks really neat, but 10 tanks and at least 2 APCs on the 16 player Taraba Quarry... that's gonna be nuts

One thing is for sure, whatever testing was done needs to be at least doubled to make sure that the likes of 1.20 doesnt happen again. For the most part it is a good patch, its unfortunate (for EA/Dice) that the few things that are wrong are like major aspects of the game!!

Release a beta patch, get more of the public involved, set up test servers and await feedback. It will come pouring in. It only took about 20 mins for me to start seeing hiccups in the game.

This sort of thing isnt uncommon however, patching patches is quite common in a lot of software (like XP or *nix) but peeps dont complain as much about these as they are expected and accepted. Whats the difference with a game, its just more software?
