got a job in a coffee shop, independently owned place. owner is an arsehole, everything is done wrong, terrible hours, blah blah. so i have been job hunting whilst its quiet on the tablet the shop uses for music. managed to get myself a job behind the bar at an italian restaurant up the road.

went to oklahoma to interview last monday, got to fly an EC 145 simulator and crashed so hard. luckily, i was "not being assessed on how well you can fly helicopters"

I didn't fail at my life expectations. I will probably end up teaching in Newark or Jersey City or Paterson. I will treat the students with the same kindness and respect I would have if I were a police officer.
