MacFarlane's talented and he's a smart guy, I just find his sense of humour pretty juvenile and boring. Not that this is a bad thing, it's just that it appealed greatly to me when I was in my early to mid teens and just hasn't really kept up. It's worth a smile now and then but it has never been able to be appreciated on different levels as can things like, (inevitable comparison,) The Simpsons or South Park or even something very kid-focussed like The Muppets.

I like MacFarlane a LOT actually. He has an amazing voice and is talented in what he can do with it (considering the multitude of characters he plays and the fact that he can actually sing really well). But this just looks like a real life version of Family Guy humor. It's stupid. He should have gone with something original. Just the fact that it's set in Boston is enough to tell you what he's trying to accomplish.Ty wrote:
