the game does have huge competitive potential. the devs update frequently and seem to be in-touch with the community. it's promising, but it's early days. tf2 was amazing in the beta/first three seasons, too. there are 'skins' in tribes, after all... it could become skin fortress.

I don't really see Tribes being appealing to the "le randum lolz xDDDD" people though, even if they added a fuckton of skins.
Competitive TF2 is still going strong tbh (although not compared to other big comp titles, obviously). I can't comment on the Euro scene, but ESEA S11 seems to be shaping up pretty well. No 5-0 rolls in Invite, and Open has 20 more teams than it did last season.

yeh it's the weapon of choice but my framerate is too shit to really take advantage of the game's movement.
it's the sort of quake-type game where you need a really high fps to be able to make the most of ski'ing and jumping. i'm trying to find a stream quality that can broadcast and give full game at the same time. i'm on lowest settrings and bordeless already
