...a long time ago. Seriously WTF that trailer has been out since forever, I'm surprised it hasn't been shown here yet in a thread.
Also, I'd like to see all the assholes bashing the military here live outdoors for a few days eating MREs, getting very little sleep, getting shot at, have to push themselves physically beyond what they think they're capable of, cope with the loss of a best friend you watched die in front of you, etc.
So I salute all troops of every nation for what they get put through. I hope this does them proper respect and is a realistic portrayal.

Looks like a jingoistic recruitment tool. Might be fun action tripe but I highly doubt it's anything close to realistic. I expect to see lots of slow-mo shots of a mournfully billowing US flag.
Also I don't know why they're promoting that whole "featuring active duty Navy Seals" thing. Am I supposed to think that this will make it more believable? I'd me more impressed if it said "featuring active duty film and television actors".

So, is Port Arms the only proper way to hold a rifle, in your opinion?
Personally, I go for pointing it in a safe direction, and making sure your trigger finger is not in the trigger guard.
I wouldn't really say up is a safe direction.
So what is a safe direction? Point it down and it can ricochet which can be just as dangerous as bullets fired into the air or ceiling.

not up, not pointing in someones general direction. if you have at least got it pointing down, and not facing someones general direction and it does go off, it will probably ricochet into a safe direction, and fall not too far from you. Shit hold it parallel to the deck if its the only safe option. I don't see up ever being safe, you just don't know where it will land if it does fire.-Sh1fty- wrote:
