When did youtube decide to add an @ before every username in the comments sections? So redundant. Also annoying they did away with user pseudonyms. There's gonna be a lot of people greeted by the handle they came up with when they were 15 when they sign in next.

imgur comes to mind. I turn its ugly beta mode off, but it always finds a way to reenable itself. Comments take up like 3x the space and the graphics remind me of arcade carpet. Functionally, cannot add a gallery to more than one folder unless you're in classic view.

It is a trip when a your phone does it. You open up an app and see the whole interface changed. Chrome does stealth updates now. I even think Windows got a lot better at making their pushed updates less destabilizing. They wisely saw how people reacted to those updates.

I still disdain cell phones. I miss the liberty of being uncontactable. These days, you gotta use some lame "ugh, left my charger at home," and there's only so many times you can get away with that. Don't get me started on texts. Yes, I read your message. No, I'm probably not going to reply in five seconds, I'm kind of busy.

Being chained to a giant glass brick uncomfortably stuffed into your pocket is awful.

I have my work email on my phone. I tell the parents "I'm a millennial. I am always near my phone. If you ever have any questions or need any help feel free to email me day or night. Holidays and weekends too." Rarely do any of them take me up on that offer but it is still there. I rather crush any problem ASAP than let a parent ruminate or email a boss.

It's useful when it's useful. I think Homer Simpson sold that to a lot of Americans back in the day. It would just be nice if things like extended "do not disturbs" were respected, and socially/professionally acceptable. I was a kid when boomers made the transition to these things. From an observer's perspective, it seemed like more work was brought home, and free time simply disappeared. Might as well install a cubicle in your living room. Instant gratification for your boss(es) and/or clients. No more waiting for office hours. An atomic bomb on family life, im-subjective-o.

I was given a $5 scratch off as a Christmas present from my boss. I won another free ticket. I took it to the machine since scratch off are only sold in machines nowadays.

Literally me trying to figure out the lotto machine.

I put the ticket in the wrong slot and the machine ate it without acknowledging it. So I was screwed there. Earlier in the day I gave $20 to a needy little brother of a close friend who passed a few years back.

I was then staring at the machine and decided to buy a $20 scratch off because I just gave away the same amount. Maybe I will get some karma reward I thought. I won jack shit.

I got owned by the NJ State Lottery. I got robbed by a machine.

Youtube chess channels. Commentation on recorded games almost always seems interrupted every two or three moves where the youtuber takes over and plays like six moves ahead where the game could have gone but didn't, before reverting changes five minutes and continuing with the original. On for like 30 minutes or so. Almost unwatchable.

Some punching down going on. A person with a 200 or 500 ELO (stats r lyfe lul) probably isn't even going to know what that means. Lay off, nerd.

Fricken chip shortage leads to markups especially trucks. The most practical truck option for me(and about the same or more fuel efficient than my sedan, even the Maverick with regular gas engine and AWD) the Ford Maverick is almost impossible to get or marked up so high it costs 150% of its MSRP

So I am stuck with midsize trucks as options that are less fuel efficient than a compact truck would be, but even those are marked up. Fricken annoying.

I want something off road capable and I want to get into hunting and not have dead animal smell in my car. So a vehicle with a pickup bed that I can easily just wash off is appealing.

I hate big ass computer cases with those big ass ATX motherboards.

I got myself an ITX motherboard inside an SFFPC case and it saved me so much space. I also had to get a smaller computer to under-compensate for my huge ass dick. All things balanced, as they should be.
