it is 100% true, though. aside from nice 'beefy' sounds and some fancy animations, the guns are pretty much call of duty console fodder.

Yeah, but the AK in BF2 was on par with the G36, it was easy as on single shot with that thing.Uzique wrote:
yep, cheap and easy. i try to use stock weapons a la bf2 now that i've unlocked every gun and played with them for a few hours each... but i often feel like i'm just gimping myself for no reason. it really is so so much easier to kill with the f2000 or aek w/ unlocks than it is with the stock m16. at least in bf2 if you got good with the stock weps you could dominate everything. in bf3 i feel like i'm playing with a handicap.
it couldn't really do full auto at any range from any position though, unlike the g36e-Whiteroom- wrote:

It's easier to kill with the stock M16 than the F2000 IMO. M16 beats it at range.Uzique wrote:

i like it when it calls you the 'most valuable player' almost every round because all you did was equip a certain scope and roll out with the best gun in the game and then lie in a bush playing a point-and-click adventure game with the neon disco morons running around like mongs.
FFS, all the other guns had the effective range of 1cm.
And even that close you still managed to miss.
yeah i wasn't pro like you, and probably will never be.Uzique wrote:
he was a naab at bf2, forgive his sins.
nothing that a steady-hold IRNV f2000 can't handle.Roc18 wrote:
City Maps like Tehran, Seine, Grand Bazaar, And even parts of Metro have areas with long LOS's where I need to burst fire to take someone out at range.
