Well actually, despite having 20/40 vision I can play computer games quite well. I'm far sighted by the way.

I'm more of a take your time and make sure each shot hits kind of guy. I like one-hit-kill weapons that require good accuracy. Like bolt action rifles in WaW and CoD2. So weapons like the M1 Garand and M14 were my weapons of choice in BC2. I always prefer single shot to burst.

I feel that I'll mainly be playing assault/medic with the M16A4 and ACOG in this game. Hopefully the gun won't require too many hits to kill, maybe 3 sounds about good. I love single shot killing people from far away.

I wonder which class will get the 60mm mortars. They were good fun to play around with back in Joint Operations Typhoon Rising. I hope we'll see something similar to that system in this game. Maybe the engineer class will get it?

My entire family has shit vision. I think my mom is in the range of 20/30, if she takes off her glasses all she sees is a blur. Sister needed glasses for driving, eldest brother has shit vision like my mom, other bro needs glasses as well (but doesn't wear them). Funnily enough I'm the only one with good eyes and have "better than 20/10"... somewhere in the range of 20/9 probably, wouldn't know as snellen charts don't go beyond 20/10.

And lucky you! It really sucks to have bad vision. I was born with less cones and rods than most people, so it's like seeing things in lower resolution, if that makes any sense, as opposed to seeing blurry because of a eye lens problem that glasses can fix.

Really is a pain in the ass because most jobs I want require good eyesight.

yeah, but the doc says they're doing good progress with stem cells and that I should see a cure in the near future (~5 years) but who knows if he's being truthful or telling me what I want to hear. Glad I have such a "minor" issue though, I could have been born with far worse conditions. so I'm grateful for that.
