I wanted to buy bc2:V, but i couldnt because my bc2 wasnt bought on steam (bunch of haters) and portal 2, but i found 25 still too pricey for a game thats only 7-8 hours and has 0 replayability (and a stupid fanbase)
i've got 19 hours out of it apparently.Kampframmer wrote:

I do play alot of custom maps, though.
Edit, my summer sale escapades.

co-op=4-5 hours
So a little more than what i first said, but thats.
You can only play sp once, but co-op as well, because it the puzzles dont change when you play with someone else, you just end up explaining them what to do.
Oh, i agree, but for me the quality of the co-op was absolutely amazing. My normal want is $1 to the hour of play time. Sure POrtal 2 doesn't meet this, however, even though I payed the full 45, I don't feel ripped, because i loved the game...Kampframmer wrote:

I liked portal as the puzzle game that it was, but the whole fanbase around it really got under my skin.tazz. wrote:

At first i found it slightly annoying how everyone on ' the internet' yelled: " :3 THE CAKE IS A LIE ^^", but when i actually played the game it got even more annoying because i did not see where this stupid bullshit hype came from.
Sure there were a few small hints to more than just the puzzle chambers (in and out) and a sort of underlying story (very thin) but all of it got blown out of proportion by the idiots that played the game.
I think that sort of lowered the score on portal for me a bit.
I would have rated it a lot higher if i played before it became a retarded sensation on the internet.
Good game, ruined by the idiots that played it.

I played portal, and portal 2 long before anyone said anything about the gameplay.Kampframmer wrote:

The cake is a lie is very frequent throughout the story, "there will be cake" is said by glados~ as you have a "party" to attend, after the course... Throughout the courses the terms "the cake is a lie" is etched into the walls by obvious preceding subjects. e:at the end there is even cake in the menu screen....
It's like when you watch a TV show, and then talk about the twist with a mate~ you both loved it and enjoyed it... and thus proclaim it together in a sense of fun.
I can see your point though, not being "in the loop" when all the fad came about would of cause annoyance for sure.
idk, portal is one of my fave games, ever.

And i didnt care that i wasnt 'in the loop', in fact, i was glad i wasnt. After playing i still didnt get all the excitement.
A bunch of retards thinking that theyre cool because they can quote something from the MASSIVE and IMMERSIVE story of a puzzle game.
Bought Hitman Blood Money, Warhammer 20K with Chao Rising, and Fallout 1.
The packs were tempting but I know I wouldn't get around to playing half the games in any of them.

Think of it what you will, but portal (1) is basically a puzzle game.

how in the hell was portal not a puzzle game?
You can say the same about any popular entertainment. People that watch Star Wars and see the "I am your father" scene will just roll their eyes and not get the big deal. There's nothing unusual going on here.Kampframmer wrote:

yet i found this one in particular to ne one of the most annoying onesSpidery_Yoda wrote:
